The Day After
In this day and age, women are independent, strong, career-driven, and successful, but though we may not admit it, we still like it when men do the wooing. Post-first date etiquette is the most fraught with stress and dangers. If the man cares to see the woman again, he should always be the one to initiate communication, and it should be done fairly immediately. In my experience, only one man has ever done it properly. He followed up our very passionate good night kiss with a short and sweet text message-- "Good morning, beautiful"-- the next day. It actually made me feel faint. The beauty of it is that it's not saying too much--just enough to let her know one very important thing: you are still thinking of her. And you have no idea how important that is to a woman after the first date. No idea.
