Seeing a Man

A well-dressed man does wonders for the female spirit. It really is quite lovely to behold. Lucky me, I get to spend a lot of time looking at well-dressed men. Every now and then, I get to dress very good looking ones in a photo shoot, which I find by the way, to be one of the sexiest things ever. From a woman's standpoint, being a well-dressed man means more than just throwing on designer duds or putting on a suit, it's about the fit, the fabric, and the ensemble. Each item that is worn must be carefully selected, so that he always looks well put together, even if the look is one that exudes "I'm just way too cool to care". And there should always be an element of surprise--some little detail that takes the outfit from run-of-the-mill to extraordinary. It can be tasteful; it can be brash. It can never be distasteful. It's something that allows the admirer to get a glimpse of his personality. While I can think about men's fashion in a very cerebral way, my response to seeing a well-dressed man can be very visceral... my heart skips a beat, and I think about getting to know him a little better. In the end, isn't that what every man wants? Style is powerful indeed.

A few of Tommy Ton's street style shots from men's fashion week in Milan took my breath away. Examples of what I consider impeccable and irresistible style from head to toe.
